Overview:
This program prepares junior employees for success in global business by building a global mindset and essential soft skills.
A global mindset is critical for understanding complex, interconnected global challenges. It fosters empathy, adaptability, and informed decision-making by helping individuals appreciate diverse perspectives.
Key soft skills include:
– Cross-cultural intelligence: Recognizing and respecting cultural differences, and communicating effectively with diverse personalities.
– Critical thinking: Asking the right questions to uncover root causes, analyze problems, and develop solutions.
– Power presentation: Conveying ideas with clarity and impact, persuading audiences, and influencing stakeholders.
Who Should Attend:
– Junior-level employees
– Employees transitioning to global roles or multinational teams
Pre-Assignment:
(Provided in consultation with the client. Examples include:)
– GlobalSmart® Profile: An online self-assessment to understand individual work styles across cultural dimensions.
– DiSC® Assessment: Identifies communication styles and how they interact with others.
– Additional reading materials and prework specific to each session.
Action Learning:
Participants apply learning through real-world projects tied to business needs. This hands-on experience promotes deep reflection and problem-solving. Note: Action learning is based on consultation with the client. The program may or may not include an action learning component.
